The statue of Zeus on Olympus is a work of ancient sculpture, one of the seven wonders of the world. The statue, erected in honor of Zeus, the main deity invented by the Greeks, was carved and made by the ingenious Greek sculptor Phidias in the ancient Greek city of Olympia.
